Overview

Moringa oleifera is often known as the drumstick tree, the miracle tree, the ben oil tree, or the horseradish tree. Often called the “Tree of Life,” it is one of nature’s most nutrient-dense plants. Its leaves are packed with vitamins A and C, iron, calcium, and essential amino acids. It is a true powerhouse of nourishment. Traditionally used across Africa and Asia to support vitality, clarity, and balance, moringa brings a deep, earthy energy that supports both body and spirit.

Why We Love It

We love moringa because it’s one of the few herbs that truly bridges food and medicine. Its nutrient profile rivals many greens, offering natural energy without caffeine, and its abundance of antioxidants helps protect against oxidative stress. Moringa is said to provide 7 times more vitamin C than oranges, 10 times more vitamin A than carrots, 17 times more calcium than milk, 9 times more protein than yogurt, 15 times more potassium than bananas and 25 times more iron than spinach. It is used to treat both malnutrition and to support lactation in mothers. The leaves make a delicious tea and are also great to add to smoothies. Moringa also shines in topical care — infused into oil, it nourishes skin and strengthens hair. While its taste is bold and earthy (some say spinach-meets-matcha), pairing it with bright herbs like lemongrass or peppermint makes for a more balanced, enjoyable cup.

How to Use

🫖 Tea: Brew 1–2 tsp per cup for 5–7 minutes for a green, grounding infusion that supports daily wellness.

🍃 Infusion: Blend with lemongrass, peppermint, or hibiscus to brighten the flavor and enhance vitality.

💧 Oil: Infuse dried leaves into a carrier oil for a deeply nourishing skin and hair tonic.

Note of care:

High doses of moringa may stimulate uterine contractions. Can lower blood sugar and blood pressure, so use with care if on related medications.
