Goldenrod has often been misunderstood and underappreciated. For many years, it was mistaken as a contributor to seasonal allergies when actually it does just the opposite as it is a natural decongestant. It is also a great one to keep around for urinary tract support. I call it the "pee pee tea" because of its diuretic properties that  can increase urine flow. It has also been used traditionally to stop muscle spasms,  for gout, joint pain (rheumatism), arthritis, as well as eczema and other skin conditions. 
 
Whether you use this as a tea or in an infusion or tincture, this is an extremely helpful herb to keep on hand.
